Police searching for man who robbed grocery store with knife

(TULSA, Okla.) Officers responded to El MoJado, 6827 S. Peoria Ave. just after 11 a.m. Saturday in reference to an armed robbery. The clerk stated a black male suspect entered the store, dressed in a heavy black coat with a fur liner, wearing blue latex gloves. The suspect demanded cash as he went behind the counter to the cash register and safe while holding the knife toward the clerk. The suspect gathered up the cash and placed into his own black bag and left. From interviewing a witness at the laundry mat next door, the suspect got into a WHITE, 4 DOOR OLDER MERCURY GRAND MARQUIS and was last seen northbound on Peoria from E. 68th Street. SUSPECT: B/M, 6', 180-200 lbs, 20-30 years of age, wearing black hooded coat with fur liner and blue latex gloves. Suspect came into the store with own black bag. SUSPECT VEHICLE: White, older 4 door, Mercury, Grand Marquis. WEAPON: Small Knife but implied he had a gun.
