Oklahoma REAL IDs to be available in April

(OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.) Starting October 1, 2020, every air traveler 18-years of age and older will either need a REAL ID, a passport or another approved form of identification to fly within the United States. Even if you’ve had a license or ID in Oklahoma in the past, when you go to get your REAL ID, you’ll NEED to bring in documentation of your identity, date of birth and lawful status. You can use the Oklahoma REAL ID Requirements Guide to build a personal checklist of the documents you will need to satisfy REAL ID identification requirements. Just follow the steps indicated on the top of each page found here: http://realid.dps.ok.gov/guide.html The checklist is for your personal use - you will not be asked to present this at the Department of Public Safety (DPS) or a tag agent office.
