Man arrested for kidnapping woman, forcing her to ATM

(TULSA, Okla.) On Saturday just after 2 p.m., officers responded to a Strong-Arm Robbery in Progress at the Walmart, 3116 S. Garnett Rd. The victim was at the car wash at 10910 E. 31st St. when a black male forced his way into her car. The suspect forced the victim to drive to the Walmart where he told her to get money from the ATM. The victim got away from the suspect and hid in the Women’s bathroom. Eventually the suspect left when he realized police were on the way. Officer Dobbins accessed video from the Walmart and was able to see the suspect leave the store and get into a red corolla. Officers began searching the area for the vehicle. Around 3:30 p.m., Officer Dobbins noticed a vehicle fitting the suspect’s vehicle at 10900 E. 41st St. The passenger in the car also fit the description of the suspect. The car was stopped and the suspect detained. He was identified by the victim who was brought to the scene. Robbery Detectives responded to the Detective Division to interview the suspect. The suspect, Evaristo Matthew Osorio was charged with Kidnapping and Robbery.
