OHP has identified the driver of the van that struck and killed Curtis Wayne Johnson, 34, of Lancaster, Texas on November 20, 2018 south of McAlester. Johnson was walking south on a service road when he was hit by a van, also traveling south. The driver of the van fled the scene. Johnson later died at a local hospital.

The assistance of the media and OHP Facebook followers developed information to progress the case.

OHP has identified Antonia "Toni" Beall of McAlester as the driver of the 2000 white Plymouth Voyager car that was modified with increased roof space and a wheelchair lift as the driver and vehicle involved. Beall took the van to an unknown location to have it concealed.

OHP is attempting to establish a timeline of activities for the vehicle and Beall and needs the public's assistance with anyone who has the following information:

Any person or business that has photographs or video of the 2000 white Plymouth Voyager van in the days or weeks before and after the November 20th collision date.

Anyone with knowledge of Beall being in possession of the van at any time before or after the collision date.

Anyone who has information regarding Beall disclosing facts of the hit and run.

Any residence or business owners who have a video that may record vehicle traffic along US Highway 69 from McAlester to Kiowa.

OHP is working with local law enforcement officers in the Pittsburg County area and has activated troopers assigned to the Traffic Homicide Unit (THU), Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Troop D McAlester to assist with the investigation.

Anyone with the above information may contact the OHP Troop D Headquarters in McAlester at 918-423-3636.
