Area residents catch burglary suspect

(TULSA, Okla.) On Thursday at 6:50 p.m., officers were dispatched to citizens chasing a burglary suspect in the area 8200 E. 33rd Place. The citizens caught the suspect and held her for officers. The investigation revealed that the suspect committed a series of burglaries from parked cars and a least one burglary of a residence. Officers and citizens recovered some of the stolen property from the suspect. Other property was recovered from yards in the area. Most of the property was returned to the owners. All of the burglaries occurred in the area of 8200 E. 33rd Street. Madison Holto was arrested for three counts of burglary of a vehicle and one count of burglary of a residence. Officers believe there are two male suspects outstanding. Officers also believe there may be additional crimes in the area that have not been discovered. Anyone with information that would assist officers in locating the other two suspects is encourage to call TPD. Residents who discover they were victims of a crime in the area or who have video on their security systems should report it to TPD.
