(TULSA, Okla.) A juvenile arrest by Tulsa Police Department is currently under investigation by the department’s Internal Affairs Unit, officials said Tuesday. We’re told the arrest happened in the area of 1300 N Osage Drive at around 5:00 p.m. Thursday, June 4. TPD released body camera footage from the incident after receiving messages regarding the incident over the weekend: CAUTION: GRAPHIC LANGUAGE AND VIOLENCE Officer 1 https://vimeo.com/user18042709/review/426574840/afceb968f0 Officer 2 https://vimeo.com/user18042709/review/426585082/68b225dbc8 Split screen synced video https://vimeo.com/user18042709/review/426600962/742568c2b4 The two juveniles can be seen walking in the middle of the street when an officer goes up behind them and grabs one of them. Both juveniles are eventually handcuffed. One of the juveniles appears to become angry with being stopped, telling the officers it is because he is black, before he is arrested. The other juvenile was let go. An officer can be heard in the videos telling the juveniles they were breaking the law by jaywalking.
