Hamburger trail leads to suspect’s identification

(TULSA, Okla.) On Saturday at 6:30 PM, an Mingo Valley Division patrol officer saw a suspicious pick-up truck driving south on S. Memorial Dr. When the officer attempted a stop, the suspect fled going west on the BA Expressway and throwing items out of the truck. The suspect drove off the expressway and onto I44 going back to the east. The suspect ran through the interstate fence then through the Embassy Suites parking lot at a high rate of speed. The suspect crashed the truck through the wall and into a room at the Courtyard Marriott near 3400 S. 79 EA. The suspect ran from the truck on foot. Officers surrounded the area but the suspect escaped. Officers later discovered that he jumped into a citizens' vehicle and they gave him a ride to the area of 3100 S. Mingo Road. During the follow-up investigation officers discovered the truck was stolen. Officers found warm hamburgers in the truck from a nearby fast food restaurant. A check of the restaurant's video showed the suspect in the truck minutes before he ran from officers. This suspect is outstanding and is wanted for felony crimes including possession of stolen vehicle and endangering the public while eluding. He is described as a white male, 20-30 years of age. He is approximately 508-510 and weighs in the area of 150 lbs. He appears to be a Chicago Bulls fan with a bull tattoo on his left shoulder. He was wearing a Chicago Bulls shirt.
