Man assaults QT employee, robs store

On December 7, 2018, the QuikTrip at 8105 E 21st St was robbed.

Reports say the female employee was working alone in the store when a black male wearing a gray hoodie with the hood synched tightly around his face and khaki pants walked in. The suspect immediately walked to the restroom and emerged a short time later.

The suspect then walked outside of the store where he appeared to see if the coast was clear then returned back inside. Without warning, the suspect vaulted over the main counter where the employee was standing and demanded she open the register.

The employee attempted to activate her panic button however; the suspect saw this and cornered her. The suspect then violently assaulted her but she was able to break away and move towards the back of the store.

At this time the suspect began taking cigarettes from the shelf and fled on foot northbound from the business.
