Teen killed in Garvin County wreck

A 17-year-old girl from Lindsay was killed early Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle wreck a few miles south of Lindsay.

It happened around 7:30 a.m.

Troopers said the girl was driving north on State Highway 76 when she drove into the opposite lane and hit a truck driving south.

The girl was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle, Justin M. Murphy, 31, of Van, Texas, was not injured.  

The wreck remains under investigation.
