(OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.) Spend this short and sweet month, virtually or in-person, at one of Oklahoma’s fun festivals, craft shows or music events. From a trek through an ancient forest to a drive-thru Indian taco sale, there is something for everyone. Check out this month’s top events below or view all February events to plan your next adventure. First Friday Events - Tulsa & OKC - February 5 Spend an evening admiring the arts in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. These fun and free events let visitors explore artwork inside galleries, studios and museums. Grab dinner from an on-site food truck and enjoy the lively atmosphere. Due to COVID protocols, reservations are required at some venues. Others allow limited walk-ins. Ancient Trail Trek - Sand Springs - February 6 Run among 500-year-old cedar trees, 300-year-old post oaks and beautiful scenery in this fun yet challenging event located within the Keystone Ancient Forest. This limited capacity 5K, 10K and 15K will also have varied start times. BMX Sooner Nationals - Tulsa - February 12-14 Cheer on riders of all skill levels at this fun weekend event, which includes pre-races on Friday, main events on Saturday and runner-up events on Sunday. Prepare to see tricks and stunts that will keep you on the edge of your (socially-distanced) seat. Face coverings are required indoors. An Affair of the Heart – Oklahoma City – February 19-21 Get ready to indulge in some serious shopping at one of the largest arts and craft shows in the United States. Browse thousands of exhibitors offering everything from antiques and collectibles to jewelry and decor at this three-day event. This year’s show features wider aisles with one-way traffic to encourage social distancing. In addition, face coverings are required. Vintage Tulsa Show - Tulsa - February 19-21 Browse rare goods from some of the finest vintage and antique dealers in the nation at this three-day event, which adheres to COVID regulations. Over 55,000 square feet will be filled with antique furniture, collectibles, vintage clothing, linens and more.
Stephens County Coin Show - Duncan - February 19-21 Search through row upon row of coins to buy, sell and trade. From antique coins to other rare finds from all over the United States, you’ll find it at this long-running coin show. Visitors can also bring coins for appraisal. Native Indian Taco and Arts & Crafts Sale Drive-Thru - OKC - February 20 Get your Indian taco fix at this drive-thru sale. Each order comes on a flatbread piled high with meat, beans, cheese and lettuce with a smattering of extras on the side. Powwow burgers will also be available. Sporting Events - Statewide - Monthlong Mask up and cheer on the home team, whether it’s the OU Sooners, OSU Cowboys or Tulsa Oilers, at one of these basketball and hockey events held throughout the month in Norman, Stillwater and Tulsa. *We encourage any potential visitors to check with organizers/venues before attending events as dates can change with little notice.
