(TULSA, Okla.) The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating after a pursuit ended with the suspect crashing into and killing two motorists. On Thursday, February 25, at approximately 12:33 p.m., an OHP trooper attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a silver pickup truck within the city limits of Coweta. The driver failed to yield to the trooper and fled. The trooper pursued the suspect out of Coweta and into the city of Tulsa. The suspect fled on several city streets and eventually turned eastbound on East 21st Street South. At the intersection of South 109th East Avenue, the suspect struck a tan colored 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe occupied by an adult female, a juvenile female and a juvenile male. The collision caused the death of the adult female and the juvenile female and injured the juvenile male. The suspect fled on foot and collapsed a short distance from the collision scene. He was taken into custody and transported to St. Francis Hospital for treatment of his injuries. It was later verified that the vehicle the suspect was driving had been stolen earlier in the city of Coweta and a stolen vehicle report was taken by the Coweta Police Department. The 14-year-old suspect has been booked into the Tulsa County jail on two counts of first degree murder, possession of a stolen vehicle and eluding a police officer. The adult female victim has been identified as Lanise Dade, age 31, of Tulsa.
