Moisture won’t be suppressed too far south, with a northward return forecast for later Monday ahead of the approaching upper low. Model runs continue a southward trend, with the upper low expected to move across southeast Oklahoma early Tuesday. Precipitation should remain mostly liquid Monday night into Tuesday, although forecast thermal profiles support a rain/snow mix early Tuesday for the higher terrain in northwest Arkansas (Boston Mountains region).
