(TULSA, Okla.) The cold front has cleared the forecast area, with the severe weather threat shifting east for the remainder of Sunday. Expect the evening and overnight hours to remain dry. Moisture won’t be suppressed too far south, with a northward return forecast for later Monday ahead of the approaching upper low. Model runs continue a southward trend, with the upper low expected to move across southeast Oklahoma early Tuesday. Precipitation should remain mostly liquid Monday night into Tuesday, although forecast thermal profiles support a rain/snow mix early Tuesday for the higher terrain in northwest Arkansas (Boston Mountains region).
