(OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.) Welcome the coming of spring with flavorful festivals and outdoor celebrations. This month’s lineup will have you tapping your toes to live music and getting the whole family into the sunshine at fun children’s events. Check out some of the month’s top events below or view all March events to plan your next adventure. *We encourage any potential visitors to check with organizers/venues before attending events as dates can change with little notice. Youth Fishing Derbies - Broken Bow, Wilburton & Yukon - March 6 & 13 Get the whole family outdoors this month for fun youth fishing derbies held across the state. These free events also offer prizes in multiple age brackets for various categories, including biggest fish and biggest stringer. Greater Tulsa Home & Garden Show - Tulsa - March 11-14 Prepare your outdoor space for warm, sunny days at this four-day event featuring over 300 exhibitor booths. Don your mask and find everything needed to create your dream home and garden all in one place. Burning of the Socks & Switch for Flip Flops - Kingston - March 13 Celebrate the arrival of spring at Lake Texoma where various marinas offer cookouts, live music and even a golf cart parade. Take part in the polar plunge before ending up fireside to burn your socks and change to flip flops for upcoming warmer weather. Spring Break at the Orr Family Farm - OKC - March 15-20 Meet friendly animals in the petting barn, race pedal cars and soar on jumping pillows at the Orr Family Farm. Make a fun day of it or extend your visit overnight in one of the farm's teepees or Conestoga wagons. Big Meat Run - Disney - March 19-21 Bring your ATV or ORV out to the wet and rocky terrain around Pensacola Dam. This three-day off-roading bonanza also features rock bouncing events where drivers try to overcome the rocky barriers.
Parkstomp Music Festival - Medicine Park - March 20-21 The cobblestone-lined streets of Medicine Park come alive with the sound of music each spring. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy socially-distanced concerts, a craft show, food vendors and plentiful shopping opportunities. Queensferry Renaissance Festival - Vinita - March 20-21 Journey back in time to 1540 in Queensferry, Scotland to celebrate the coming of spring with Queen Margaret and King James V. Take in the sights and sounds of the town folk, merchants and performers. Just Between Friends - Tulsa - March 25-28 Don your mask and shop one of the country’s largest children’s and maternity consignment shows where you can snag great deals on gently used and new clothing, toys, books, baby gear, nursery decor and more. Red Brick Road Food Truck & Art Festival - Enid - March 27 Head to downtown Enid where food trucks will be gathered on the unique red brick streets of East Maple Avenue. Festival goers will also enjoy live music throughout the day, artwork by local artists and plenty of cold drinks.
