Police investigate deadly shooting in Okmulgee

A man is dead and a teenager is in custody after a deadly shooting on Wednesday. Police said the shooting happened on E Glennan Drive just before 8 p.m. When officers arrived, they said, they found Tristan James Waters, 20, of Okmulgee County, with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to a local hospital by ambulance and was pronounced dead. Police arrested a 17-year-old male for manslaughter. The shooting remains under investigation.
