Kites Over Enid - Enid - April 24-25 Bring, create or buy your own colorful kite and send it sky high at this spring event. There will also be a candy drop, special kite performances and food trucks at this Enid event, which broke the North American record in 2009 by flying 2,598 kites simultaneously. Tumbleweed Calf Fry - Stillwater - April 29-May 1 Adventurous eaters and music lovers alike won’t want to miss this annual event, which features a calf fry meal and live Red Dirt country music entertainment.
