UPDATE: The female victim was pronounced dead Friday night at 10:41. On Friday just before 2:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to a house on North 23rd West Ave near North Gilcrease Museum Road in reference to a shooting. When officers arrived, they located a male victim in the driveway with a gunshot wound to his abdomen, and a female victim with a gunshot wound to the head. A second male inside the house claimed to be the ex-husband of the female victim, who owns the home, and stated he had been invited over to her house. The male subject immediately told responding officers that he had shot the male subject as he broke into the residence. The male victim, who is possibly a boyfriend of the female victim, showed up at the residence and forced his way into the residence and was shot by the ex-husband. Evidence revealed that several shots were fired inside the residence and that the female had been struck in the head by the gunfire. Both shooting victims were transported by EMSA in critical condition. The ex-husband was transported to the detective division to be interviewed. Special Investigations Unit and Homicide detectives responded to the scene.
