(OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.) Welcome the coming of spring with flavorful festivals and outdoor celebrations. This month’s lineup will have you tapping your toes to live music and getting the whole family into the sunshine at fun children’s events. Check out some of the month’s top events below or view all March events to plan your next adventure.

Mustang Chocolate Festival - Mustang - March 4

Satisfy your sweet tooth with a variety of chocolate treats from over 20 different vendors. Place your bet on goodies at the silent auction and stick around to see who takes home the trophy for Best Tasting Chocolate, Most Unique Chocolate and Best Decorated Table.

Battle of Round Mountain Re-enactment - Yale - March 11-13

Visit the encampment of the first battle fought in Indian Territory during the Civil War. This re-enactment showcases living history soldiers from opposing sides, vendors in period dress and a battle complete with cannons.

Jurassic Quest - OKC - March 11-20

Bring the whole family to this unique exhibit full of dinosaurs that move, walk around and even play with guests. After interacting with Jurassic Quest creatures, guests can dig up fossils like a real paleontologist or even take a ride on the back of a dinosaur.

BrickUniverse Lego Fan Convention - OKC - March 12-13

Unleash your inner builder at this two-day, ultimate LEGO lover’s paradise. Not only are guests invited to create at building zones, but also to marvel at spectacular builds that you have to see to believe. There will also be guest speakers and plenty of LEGO sets, mini-figures and accessories available for purchase.

Tulsa Botanic Blooms - Tulsa - March 17-April 17

Revel in the arrival of spring at one of the largest spring bulb displays in the state. The annual event features a crescendo of color paired with live music, art shows, kite flying and more on select dates.

Big Meat Run - Disney - March 18-19

Bring your ATV or ORV out to the wet and rocky terrain around Pensacola Dam. This two-day off-roading bonanza also features rock bouncing events where drivers try to overcome the rocky barriers.

Parkstomp Music Festival - Medicine Park - March 18-20

The cobblestone-lined streets of Medicine Park come alive with the sound of music each spring. Bring your lawn chairs and tap your toes to bluegrass, country, rockabilly, punk and rock. There will also be a craft show, food vendors and plentiful shopping opportunities.

Burning of the Socks & Switch for Flip Flops - Kingston - March 19

Celebrate the arrival of spring at Lake Texoma where various marinas offer cookouts, live music and even a golf cart parade. Take part in the polar plunge before ending up fireside to burn your socks and change to flip flops for upcoming warmer weather.

Queensferry Renaissance Festival - Vinita - March 19-20

Journey back in time to 1540 in Queensferry, Scotland to celebrate the coming of spring with Queen Margaret and King James V. Take in the sights and sounds of the town folk, merchants, and performers.

Red Brick Road Food Truck & Art Festival - Enid - March 26-27

Follow the red brick road in downtown Enid to sample delicious cuisine from a variety of food trucks and take in some amazing work from local artists. There will also be a beer garden and live music all day long.
