(TULSA, Okla.) A new WalletHub study ranked the best and worst states for women this year. Despite Governor Kevin Stitt’s mission to be a top 10 state, Oklahoma came in last place.

Researchers looked at two key dimensions for the study: Women’s Economic & Social Well-Being and Women’s Health Care & Safety.

Oklahoma scored a 34.53 out of a possible 100 points.

The Sooner State also ranked second to last with the highest female uninsured rate and tied with Louisiana in fifth to last place for lowest percentage of women who voted in the 2020 Presidential Election.
