(OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.) At approximately 12:45 a.m. Friday, the OHP Central Regional Communication Center received a call from the Oklahoma City Police Department of a white Chevy Malibu traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-240 from Western.

Three troopers responded to the area and one of the troopers’ units was struck by the suspect vehicle. The suspect vehicle then continued and the troopers pursued off I-240 onto the south service road.

At some point in time, we have reason to believe the suspect driver shot at law enforcement, and troopers returned fire.

The suspect fled and entered an apartment complex where the suspect driver fled on foot. The passenger remained on scene and the driver is still outstanding. The vehicle was confirmed as stolen.

The suspect driver has been identified as 35-year-old Gabriel Yeatman. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
