Suspects crash during Oklahoma car chases hours apart

(OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.) Two men were taken to hospitals after wrecking their vehicles while evading law enforcement; one in Tulsa, one in Pottawatomie County. Devin Hausam, 44, of Coweta was being pursued by law enforcement at a high rate of speed early Tuesday morning on 15th Street South and 85th East Ave in Tulsa when he drove off the left side of the road and rolled the vehicle. Hausam was partially ejected and taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Cody L. Hays, 30, of Seminole was eluding a Pottawatomie County deputy Monday around 10:30 p.m. on Little River Road a couple miles south of Tecumseh when he lost control, hit an embankment and then crashed into a fence. Hays was ejected and flown to an Oklahoma City hospital. Both incidents remain under investigation.
