(OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.)  Sink your teeth into tasty hometown festivals showcasing juicy peaches, ripe blackberries and sweet watermelon this July. The warmest season of the year also heats up the music scene on both land and water. Load up the car, roll down the windows and head to one of the stand-out summer events below or search all July events to discover even more. 

Rockin' the Park

Medicine Park / July 2-4

Visit the charming cobblestone-lined streets of Medicine Park for a weekend of family-friendly fun. This free event features local and regional rock music performances, plenty of shopping and dining opportunities, and an incredible firework display to close out the event.

Blackberry Festival

McLoud / July 8-9

This much-loved festival, which began in the 1940s, entertains visitors with plenty of blackberry-themed events such as a parade, carnival rides and the selling of fresh blackberries, cobblers, sodas and teas. Stick around for fireworks after dark.

Southwest Street Rod Nationals

Oklahoma City / July 8-10

Head to Oklahoma’s largest gathering of pre-1989 automobiles and street rods at this annual three-day event where visitors can walk right up to over 1,700 vehicles. There will also be exhibits, a swap meet and vendor booths.

Woody Guthrie Folk Festival

Okemah / July 13-17

Soak up the friendly Okemah atmosphere, enjoy live entertainment alongside music lovers from all over the world and celebrate this Oklahoma-born folk icon at this annual festival. The town comes to life with children's activities, poetry readings and stages buzzing with live music.

Porter Peach Festival

Porter / July 14-16

Head to this sweet summer event and enjoy cooking contests, a peach auction, parade and more. Enjoy street games while listening to live music and don't forget to enjoy Porter peaches in cobblers, jams and ice cream.

An Affair of the Heart

Tulsa / July 15-17

Get ready to indulge in some serious shopping at one of the largest arts and craft shows in the United States. Browse thousands of exhibitors offering everything from antiques and collectibles to jewelry and decor at this three-day event.

Stratford Peach Festival

Stratford / July 16

Sink your teeth into a juicy Stratford peach during this beloved hometown celebration. This time-honored tradition will also include live entertainment, arts and craft vendors, a car show and old-fashioned games.

Aquapalooza at Grand Lake

Afton / July 16

Whether you’re boating or floating, head to Grand Lake for a high-energy concert on the water. Tulsa’s own House Party will be performing on a 30x50 foot barge stage anchored 200 feet into the water, where over 14,000 concertgoers will gather for live music, free inflatables and beer pong.

Taste of Summer Ice Cream Festival

Broken Arrow / July 16

Cool off with delicious, all-you-can-eat Blue Bell ice cream for the whole family. This tasty event also includes a kid's zone, live entertainment, cooling stations, food trucks and vendors.

Whole Hawg Days & Poker Run

Eufaula / July 29-30

Endless activities are available during this thrilling weekend including a parade, car show and barbecue cook-off. This fun event is brought to a close on Saturday with the much-anticipated poker run held by boat, car or motorcycle around Lake Eufaula.
