(TULSA, Okla.) National Weather Service Tulsa confirmed severe thunderstorms spawned a tornado that touched down in Broken Arrow Thursday night.

Experts said the EF-1 tornado was the result of a storm over eastern Tulsa County connecting with an outflow boundary from storms to the north.

The tornado developed just east of Lynn Lane, south of East Kenosha Street, and traveled four miles east-northeast into Wagoner County, lasting approximately nine minutes.

Peak wind is estimated at 85-95 miles per hour.

The damage, surveyed on Friday, included uprooted and snapped trees and minor roof damage to several homes.

No injuries were reported.
