Home shot during road rage incident in Plainfield Township

(PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich.) The Kent County Sheriff's office is investigating a road rage incident that led to a home being struck by gunfire. 

According to the sheriff's office, there was a traffic crash on Plainfield Avenue south of 4 Mile Road around 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

The driver of the at-fault vehicle took off and the other vehicle involved followed. 

Once both entered 4 Mile Road, shots were fired from the at-fault vehicle toward the other vehicle involved in the crash. 

The other vehicle was not hit with any bullets, but a home along 4 Mile was. 

The sheriff's office says no one was injured but they are continuing to investigate the incident.
