(TULSA, Okla.) More than 150 pregnant parents and families with babies will attend a free community baby shower this Saturday, Sept 17. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit with 30 local vendors ranging from community resources to healthcare providers. 
Guests will also enjoy fatherhood and safe sleep classes, refreshments, prizes and giveaways. 
The purpose of the event is to provide knowledge and resources parents need to give their baby the best start in life.  
The event will be held Saturday, September 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Booker T. Washington High School, 1514 East Zion Street, Tulsa, OK 74106. 
It is presented by the Tulsa Health Department, Tulsa Health Department Healthy Start and GKFF Birth Through Eight Strategy for Tulsa.
