BigIfTrue.org is now Streetlight. Here’s why we changed our name.

(OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.)  The Streetlight is on.

After almost three years of covering economic inequality, housing and criminal justice, BigIfTrue.org's name has changed to Streetlight.

Streetlights are in every town, however big or small.

Our work underscores problems that are common in many communities across the country—and solutions that can cut through the darkness.

Streetlights are for everyone, no matter who they are or where they come from. Our journalism is published in the public’s interest, and thanks to the generosity of our supporters, reading our site is free to all.

Streetlights don’t shine as brightly as they should in some neighborhoods.

Inequality is the most pressing challenge of our time, and it deserves robust news coverage.

Our journalism brings to light injustices and aims to hold accountable those in power.

As part of our name change, we’re elated to share with you our new website, StreetlightNews.org. We hope this site can be a safe harbor for information, conversation and empowerment.
