Tulsa K9 officer takes down two armed robbery suspects

(TULSA, Okla.) On Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. patrol officers were dispatched to a residence in the area of 6100 E. 4th Street for a report of armed robbery. The victim told officers two suspects used a handgun to take his Toyota Camry. The victim gave a good description of the suspect and knew the tag on his car. A short time later at 5:35 PM another officer saw the car at 8100 E. 41st St. The suspects saw the officer turn around and attempted to get away. They drove behind a motel at 8500 E. 41st Street and ran from the car. Officers surrounded the area and called in K9 Officer Khan. Khan quickly found two suspects hiding on the third floor of the motel. They surrendered and were arrested. After interviews by robbery detectives, Felecia Mcguire and Deric Spear were arrested for Kidnapping and Armed Robbery. The victim's car was returned to him. The handgun used in the robbery was not found.
