(TULSA, Okla.) After a 3-year hiatus, Tulsa IrishFest is set to return to T-Town in 2024.

Executive Director of Tulsa IrishFest Millan Hupp said plans are well underway to making next year’s event the number one Irish Festival in the world.

“We are looking forward to bringing this very special event to Oklahoma and are excited to present our guests with everything that Irish culture has to offer,” Hupp said.

The three-day festival invites revelers near and far to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day and Irish culture March 8-10, 2024.

More than 8,000 people attended the first Tulsa IrishFest, held at the Guthrie Green in downtown Tulsa on March 17, 2018. By 2019 the festival had grown to over 12,000 attendees, expanding into a two-day event with a “kid zone” and a special “Celtic Music for the Schools” pre-festival concert series.

Despite limited attendance due to the Covid-19 pandemic, bands from Ireland, Scotland, Nova Scotia and across the United States made the journey to Tulsa IrishFest in 2020.

The festival went on hiatus from 2021 to 2023, but is on the path to return in 2024 bigger and better than ever.

“We are committed to our family-friendly, authentic experience as we add the best music, culture, food and entertainment offerings for our guests.” President of Tulsa IrishFest Don Burdick said. “We want all Tulsans to share in the excitement of their hometown IrishFest!”

The 2024 Tulsa IrishFest will take place at the River West Festival Park, located at 2100 S. Jackson Avenue in Tulsa. Bands from Ireland, Scotland, Nova Scotia, and the United States have already committed to the event.
