(TULSA, Okla.) A frontal boundary will remain across the area over the next several days. A sharp contrast in temperatures will be observed wherever the boundary stalls before attempting to lift back north on Wednesday. Some light patchy drizzle/freezing drizzle is not out of the question by Tuesday morning near the Kansas border where temperatures may be near freezing. Shower and thunderstorm chances will increase later Wednesday and especially Wednesday night as the cold front surges southeast. Some severe weather is possible Wednesday night, with gusty winds being the main threat. Much colder air will filter across the forecast area Thursday, with falling temperatures through the day. Precipitation should shift quickly east on Thursday, although there may be some light wintry precipitation along the back edge of the exiting precipitation shield. Chilly weather continues into the weekend, with rain chances returning by Sunday.
