Rookie officers to fight crime with burgers Tuesday night

(TULSA, Okla.) The 2019 Rookie class of the Tulsa Police Academy will be serving up burgers at Smitty’s Garage in south Tulsa from 5:30 to 8:30 Tuesday night. Ten percent of the proceeds will go to support Tulsa Crime Stoppers, a Tulsa-based 501(c)3 non-profit providing valuable crime prevention services to residents and public safety providers in greater Tulsa. The program rewards people who call in crime tips leading to arrests. Callers can remain anonymous.
