(GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.) Champagne, bingo, and lots of laughter filled Social House in downtown Grand Rapids for a “Bingo and Bubbly” fundraiser on the evening of February 1st.

Dozens of people came together to raise money for a local non-profit, Redeemed Mobile Boutique.

The boutique helps women leaving situations that include: domestic violence, human trafficking, or incarceration.

Redeemed Mobile Boutique, was launched in 2023 and has made its mission to help these women by making sure they have the clothing they need to feel confident and beautiful.

Several non-profits have brought women through the boutique located in Grandville to choose clothing that suits their needs.

"If you look at going into a new job, or if they have a job, think about having a new outfit how that makes you feel," said Holly Gort, the founder of Redeemed Mobile Boutqiue.

There is also a trailer that can be filled with clothing and taken to different locations if a non-profit is unable to travel.

Part of the money raised during the event will go towards that trailer.

“We have the trailer, we need the money to wrap it, cause she needs some love on the outside,” said Gort. “The inside’s cute but the outside needs some love. And then also just being able to move forward with different expenses, website, all of that type stuff.”

Gort says she was thrilled to see so many people come together to support the cause and to have the chance to share the mission with new faces.

“It sold out super quick,” said Gort. “It’s a new mission and so just being able to get to a new area, get to new people, and just letting people know what Redeemed is.”

Redeemed Mobile Boutique will be hosting a Grand Opening on March 14th to share their mission with the community.

Anyone who would like to make a donation to support the boutique can do so online
