(OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.) OHP Trooper Cody Enloe will be recognized with two awards this week for his bravery in rescuing three children from a submerged vehicle earlier this year.
On February 14, Trooper Enloe was called to a single-vehicle rollover in McCurtain County. A woman had rolled her truck and it was submerged in standing water with three children trapped inside.
Trooper Enloe took control of the scene, hooking up the "Jaws of Life" to the vehicle and getting all three children out.
The Oklahoma State Firefighters Association will be presenting Trooper Enloe with a Heroism Award. The senior chaplain at the Oklahoma City Police Department will also be presenting him with a cross and a letter of appreciation.
