(ATOKA COUNTY, Okla.) Two people are dead after a driver hit a deer in Atoka County early Friday. Troopers said 45-year-old Scott Miller of Atoka was driving west on State Highway 7 four miles south of Atoka around 3:45 a.m. when he hit a deer in the roadway. We’re told Miller then drove onto the other side of the highway and hit a truck driven by 59-year-old Delbert Byles of Milburn. Byles died at the scene. Miller was taken to a local hospital where he also died. The wreck remains under investigation.
