Suspect arrested after deadly apartment shooting

(TULSA, Okla.) UPDATE: 42-year-old Antwan Barnes has been identified as the victim shot to death at the Sierra Point Apartments early Wednesday morning. Homicide Detectives identified 25-year-old Shaquel Mullins as the suspect. Warrants and Homicide Detectives arrested Mullins in the area of 100 N. Garnett without incident hours later. Mullins is being booked for one count of first degree murder and five counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling. ORIGINAL STORY: Just after midnight Wednesday, officers from the Mingo Valley Division were radio assigned to a shooting at the Sierra Point Apartments at 1300 S. 107 E. Avenue. The victim, a 42 year old black male was shot by the suspect, a 24-28 year old black male.  The victim died at the scene.  The suspect fled the area.  Several witnesses were transported downtown for interviews with detectives.  Officers are searching for the suspect.
