(TULSA, Okla.) Thunderstorms will develop across western Kansas Tuesday afternoon then organize into a complex and track east-southeast toward northeast Oklahoma after midnight. Damaging winds will be the main threat along with locally heavy rainfall. At least a limited tornado threat, including large hail, will be possible with any discrete cells initially. In addition, slow storm motions will increase the threat for locally heavy rainfall/flash flooding. Thunderstorm activity will likely become more linear with time in northeast Oklahoma overnight. Severe potential will likely transition toward damaging wind and heavy rainfall threat by this time.
