Man in serious condition after shooting on I-244

(TULSA, Okla.) On Wednesday at approximately 9:30 am in the 8500 Block of East of I-244 in the eastbound lanes, a witness observed a male and female adult in a physical struggle outside of a white colored SUV. The female then left the scene on I-244 leaving the male behind. The witness discovered that the male had a gunshot wound to his torso. The witness called 911 and transported the victim to the area of Admiral and Mingo Road where TPD, TFD and EMSA responded. The victim is a white male, approximately 25 years of age. He was conscious and able to speak to police when they arrived. He stated that he was shot by the female. The female involved in the shooting along with the suspect vehicle and the gun used in the incident have all been located by police officers.  Officers received a tip from a citizen about the woman's name and location and were able to locate her.  She is being interviewed by detectives about her involvement in the shooting. The victim was transported to the hospital and is in serious condition.
