Suspect sought in Tulsa murder considered armed and dangerous

(TULSA, Okla.) On Tuesday around 10:30 p.m., officers responded to a “Dead On Arrival” call at 1519 S. 68 E. Ave. It turned out that the victim, 33-year-old Curtiss Gaines, had been shot once in the upper torso and had died at the scene.
Detectives have been working on this all day Wednesday and developed 42-year-old Barton Vann as a suspect in that murder. At 6:35 today, officers responded to a shooting at 1407 S. 73rd E. Ave. in which Vann was a named suspect.
Vann is considered armed and dangerous and is in the company of 34-year-old Nicole Williams-Sittel. It is unclear if she is with him willingly or not. Any information as to their whereabouts, call 911 immediately.
