(TULSA, Okla.) A Flash Flood Watch set to expire at 7 a.m. was cancelled early for northeast Oklahoma on Sunday, making way for sunny skies and highs
in the 80s on Monday. The latest data indicate that most of the storms should be south and east of the area by early morning.
Monday should be fairly quiet after the eventful weekend, although thunderstorm chances will increase again mainly late Tuesday and into Tuesday night as a disturbance moves through the area along the periphery of the building ridge.
The rest of the upcoming work week will feature typical weather with temperatures near normal and low thunderstorm chances favored over the higher terrain of southeast Oklahoma and western Arkansas.
