Arrest made after body found near Winstar Casino

(LOVE COUNTY, Okla.) In the early morning hours of June 23, passing motorists noticed a body lying beside Interstate 35, northbound off-ramp, near mile marker 1, just south of the Winstar Casino, in Love County. Deputies with the Love County Sheriff’s Office, Officers with the Chickasaw Nation Lighthorse Police and OHP troopers, responded to the scene. During the investigation by Lighthorse Police and Love County Deputies, a vehicle was identified, and two persons were located and detained. OHP troopers interviewed the two men who were later released, the vehicle and driver were identified thru interviews and other investigative activities, acting on information troopers contacted the Texas Rangers who located the vehicle in Euless Texas. Euless Texas Police, Texas Highway Patrol, and Texas Rangers during a traffic stop detained Tevita Mose of Euless. OHP troopers with the Traffic Homicide Unit and the OHP Investigations Division traveled to Euless, and after an interview arrested Mose for Leaving the Scene of a Fatal Collision, Mose is currently awaiting extradition proceedings back to Oklahoma.
Texas Rangers are obtaining a search warrant for the vehicle, and OHP troopers will return to process the vehicle for forensic evidence. The victim was identified as Christopher Troy Hall of Texas. OHP wants to recognize and commend the agencies that are continuing to participate in this death investigation; those are the Love County Sheriff’s Office, Chickasaw Nation Lighthorse Police Department, Texas Highway Patrol, Texas Rangers, and Euless Texas Police Department.
