Sperry man arrested for 2nd degree rape of teen

(TULSA, Okla.) As members of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations (OSBI) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and Homeland Security Investigations Task Force, a Tulsa Police Child Crisis Detective and Cyber Crimes Detective received a tip regarding a 15-year-old female communicating with a 42-year-old male in Sperry using the internet.  The communication suggested that the juvenile female and adult male had a sexual relationship.  Detectives with the Tulsa Police Department Child Crisis Unit and Cyber Crimes Unit were able to locate the victim. With the help of OSBI ICAC Agents, FBI Task Force Officers, and Homeland Security Investigations Task Force Officers and Agents an Osage County Search Warrant was executed at the adult male’s residence at about 3100 West 77th Place North.  Several items of evidence were collected. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Osage County Jail for 2nd Degree Rape, Lewd Proposal to a Minor Child, Lewd Proposal to a Minor Child using Technology, and Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act. The suspect was identified as 42-year-old Thomas Daughtry.
