Young skateboarder killed in Lincoln County

(MCCLOUD, Okla.) A child is dead after being hit by a truck while skateboarding on Wednesday. Troopers said it happened close to midnight on State Highway ‪102 and Robin Hood Lane‬, 5 miles north of McCloud, in Lincoln County.    We’re told Dustin Holmes, 30, of Harrah, drove north up a hill on State Highway 102. When Holmes came down the hill, he hit the child skateboarding in the northbound lane. Holmes pulled over, then drove his truck across the roadway to block traffic.   The child died at the scene due to massive head injuries.
