Suspects arrested for Craig County murder

(CRAIG COUNTY, Okla.) UPDATE 2: The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) has arrested two men in connection with the murder of 28-year-old Christopher Boren, who was found in a ditch in Craig County just north of the Mayes County line. Dale Eugene Warren (63) and Johnny Lee Arnold (31) were arrested on Sunday, August 25 in Mayes County. Both were taken into custody without incident and are currently in the Mayes County Jail before being transferred to Craig County. Warren and Arnold both face First Degree Murder charges. The Oklahoma Office of Chief Medical Examiner is determining Boren’s cause of death. The Mayes County Sheriff’s Office and Langley Police Department assisted with arresting both men. The Delaware County, Mayes County and Craig County Sheriff’s Offices also assisted with the investigation. UPDATE 1: The murder victim found in Craig County Monday has been identified. The OSBI said 28-year-old Christopher Boren has been positively identified. The Oklahoma Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine Boren's cause of death. The OSBI investigation is ongoing. ORIGINAL STORY: The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) is working a homicide investigation in Craig County and needs the public's help identifying the victim. On August 19, the Craig County Sheriff's Office requested the OSBI's assistance after a body was found in a ditch near the intersection of 4430 Road and 350 Road just north of the Mayes County line. The OSBI is working to positively identify the unknown male with the assistance of the Oklahoma Office of Chief Medical Examiner.
