Suspects arrested after elderly couple tied up during armed robbery, husband beaten

(TUTTLE, Okla.) UPDATE: The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI), with assistance from the Oklahoma City Police Department, arrested two suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Tuttle on August 31. Agents have been following numerous leads in the case and one of those leads led to the identification of the two suspects who entered the home in Tuttle. Nathaniel Jones (24) and Jessica Roberts (28) were both taken into custody at a residence located in the 5400 block of S. Rockwood Avenue in Oklahoma City. Roberts surrendered after the search warrant was served around 11 p.m. Jones was taken into custody at approximately 2:15 a.m. after the Oklahoma City Tactical Team fired tear gas into the residence. He was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released. Both Jones and Roberts have been booked into the Grady County Jail and are facin g First Degree Robbery charges. A third suspect, observed on video surveillance sitting in the driver’s seat of what is believed to be a Mazda 3, still has not been identified. Although that individual never entered the home, they are wanted in connection with the armed robbery. ORIGINAL STORY: The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) is looking to the public for assistance in identifying three suspects in a late-night armed robbery in Tuttle. The Tuttle Police Department requested assistance from the OSBI for an armed robbery and shooting that occurred just before 11 p.m. on Saturday. An elderly couple in their late 70's living in the 100 block of East Drive in Tuttle, were tied up by two suspects after they entered the couple's home. The husband was beaten before being tied up with his wife. He was able to break through his bindings and get to a loaded gun and he shot at the suspects. The suspects took off after the shots were fired. They fled to a vehicle waiting outside the home with a third suspect inside. The suspects that entered the home are described as follows: Female Mid-20's to early 30's Approximately 5'4'' and 130 pounds Tattoo on the back of her neck or upper back Male, white Mid-20's to early 30's Approximately 5'7'' and 140-145 pounds Tattoos on the top of right arm The third suspect was observed on video surveillance sitting in the driver's seat of the vehicle but never entered the home.
