Serial robber arrested

(TULSA, Okla.) On Friday, patrol officers arrested Mathew Treat and Joe Cato for robbing a taxi driver at gunpoint and taking her phone. Officers were able to track the suspects to a motel room at 8181 E 41st where Treat and Cato were arrested. A subsequent search warrant led to evidence from other robberies. Treat was listed as a suspect in a robbery at a different motel where he assaulted the victim with a microwave and took money. Treat was also identified as the suspect in an attempted carjacking at 7400 E Admiral where he shot the victim and fled. Treat was recently released from prison, Cato appears- for now- to just be involved in one of the incidents. Treat may also be linked to more robberies, investigation continues.
