Head-on crash kills one, leaves children in critical condition

(OSAGE COUNTY, Okla.) A Tulsa man was killed and five others were injured in a head-on crash Tuesday afternoon.
Troopers said the wreck happened on SH 11 near CR 2561 east of Pershing just after 5 p.m.
We’re told Steven Davis Hanner, 61, was headed east on SH 11 when he crossed the center line and hit a vehicle driving west head on.
The driver of the other vehicle, Rebecca Jo McLain, 31, of Skiatook was flown to a Tulsa hospital.
A 6-year-old girl and a 9-month-old girl from Skiatook were taken to area hospitals in critical condition.
A 2-year-old girl from Skiatook and a 1-year-old boy from Barnsdall were also taken to the hospital.
The wreck remains under investigation.
