(TULSA, Okla.) Tulsa Public Schools has released the following information to the public to help resolve funding hurdles they anticipate in the next few years: TPS has begun a series of 11 events to gather feedback from community members about the core initiatives, services, and supports that people value most. The district will use the information gathered during these events to help redesign the district’s budget for the 2020-2021 school year and beyond to improve student experiences with the district’s continued fiscal constraints.   The last two community events will take place this week on the following dates:   ‪Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.‬ Central High School, cafeteria (‪3101 W. Edison St.‬)   ‪Thursday, Oct. 10 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.‬ East Central High School, cafeteria (‪12150 E. 11th St.)‬   Food will be provided during the first 30 minutes of these events, followed by discussion. Interpretation services are available at every meeting. For additional community meeting dates, visit www.tulsaschools.org/budgetredesign.
