Man arrested for fatal punch

(TULSA, Okla.) Homicide detectives arrested Chris Carter, 23, on Friday for first degree manslaughter in the death of Thomas Hurley, 34, on October 6. Hurley was punched outside the Midnight Rodeo bar by Carter and fell to the ground. He later died from his injuries at the hospital. Police were notified of the assault on October 7 and began working the case. The original call to EMSA went in as a "fall." Additional information from VNN’s Brittany Harlow: A GoFundMe account has been set up for Hurley’s family. The page states: “Thomas, a military veteran from Ogden, Utah is survived by his father and mother, 3 children (a twin son and daughter age 7, and son age 5), as well as his family and friends that he loved dearly.
