Storm chances Monday and Tuesday

(TULSA, Okla.) Shower and storms chances increase early next week as a cold front moves into the region. There is a limited threat of severe weather on Tuesday, mainly across southeast Oklahoma. Above normal temperatures are expected on Monday in advance of a cold front that is forecast to move through the region on Tuesday. Shower and thunderstorm chances will increase Monday night and continue into Tuesday evening in association with this frontal boundary. Some of the storms could be strong to severe Tuesday afternoon across southeast Oklahoma into northwest Arkansas. Cooler temperatures are forecast for Wednesday in the wake of the cold front with a warming trend commencing Thursday and continuing into the weekend.
