This week members of the OHP Traffic Homicide Unit and Oklahoma City Police Fatality investigation team are training together on software that allows for law enforcement officers to use photographs obtained from investigators on the ground and photographs taken from above a crash scene to create a 3D model of collision scenes and vehicle damage. This provides prosecutors with demonstrative evidence to take the jury back to the crime/crash scene as a traffic homicide case is adjudicated. OHP sponsored the class and was happy to train with our law enforcement partners at the Oklahoma City Police Department.
