(CREEK COUNTY, Okla.) A Kellyville woman suffered fatal injuries Friday while trying to help two friends who lost the load they were hauling on the highway. It happened at 7 p.m. less than a mile west of Sapulpa on State Highway 66 near State Highway 33. Troopers said Brittany M. Victory, 33, was in the turn lane trying to remove the load from the roadway when another driver, Scott M Lynn, 43, of Kellyville, swerved to avoid her vehicle and hit her. She was taken to a Sapulpa hospital but died an hour later. Three children in Victory’s vehicle, a 12-year-old girl, a 4-year-old boy, and 10-year-old girl were not injured. Neither was Lynn. The driver and passenger of the truck who lost the load in the roadway were also not injured. Lynn’s Facebook page says she was a single mom to two girls. The wreck remains under investigation.
