(TULSA, Okla.) Looking at the upcoming week, rain chances, thunder and winter weather potential are worth mention. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible late Wednesday into Thursday as a cold front moves across the area. Above average temps will prevail through the middle of the week. The stretch of nice weather will come to an end by midweek, starting with rain and isolated thunder Wednesday and Wednesday evening. A cold front will then push across the region in the wake of the wave Thursday, with more unsettled weather developing with the front through Friday and in advance of the approaching southwest upper storm system. Moisture recovery will be sufficient enough to warrant isolated to scattered thunder mention. Thermal profiles may get cold enough near the tail end of the precipitation Friday night into Saturday to the north and west of Tulsa for some light snow and a dusting of accumulation before it ends. Impacts are not expected. All in all, while the weather will be turning unsettled for the middle to latter part of the week, the weather is not expected to be impactful. Rainfall amounts are not expected to be heavy, and wintry weather potential will be limited in coverage and amount. Monday Mostly sunny, with a high near 67. South wind 5 to 10 mph.
